This past weeks race was the first race of the Chase (NASCAR's Playoffs) at Chicagoland Speedway. Kyle Busch had the pole and won the first stage of the race, but a penalty set him back during the race and was not able to recover. Chase Elliott won stage two, but it was Martin Truex Jr. who brought home the checkered flag in the #78 Furniture Row Toyota. This is the fifth win of the season for Truex and guaranties him a spot in the round of 12. The Next race is Sunday from New Hampshire at 1pm central on NBCSN. Stay tuned for a new post about how the Chase works.
